This weekend I am at a scrap booking crop. I’m only two vacations behind! Hopefully, after the weekend, I’ll only be one behind! In the meantime, I wanted to share a terrific kit with you, the Sincerely Santa Project Kit. It’s a terrific kit that makes lots of Christmas tags.
Here’s a sampling of the tags. The kit makes 6 of each one – that’s 30 tags!
The kit includes all the papers, ribbons, twines, jingle bells, gold stars (even extra of those!) doilies, and more. All you need to purchase in addition to the kit is the stamp set and the inks. You will need adhesive too. Oh, I nearly forgot, there is a darling tin to hold all of your tags or to gift later on in the season.
You will probably want to buy the Sincerely Santa stamp set as well. It comes either clear mount or wood mount. It’s just really cute and you can make same terrific cards with it as well as the tags.
If you live nearby, you can come to my tags class. For $25 you can get the kit, use my stamps and ink and I’ll even prep the kit for you! If you don’t live nearby, here’s a video that Stampin’ Up! has prepared to show you how easily the kit goes together.

I have a quick little project to share with you today. I made a little gift tag with the Merry Little Labels stamp set to attach to my customer’s new Holiday catalog. This week I’m mailing out or dropping off the catalogs. Oh, there are so many goodies in those pages! Here’s one of my first projects. I had already distributed some of the tags but still have quite a few to go out!
I did make one version of the tag that is a bit stepped up. You can never go wrong with a bit of bling!
Design Notes for Merry Little Labels Gift Tag:
Stamp, punch, adhere. Well, I guess it’s a little more elaborate that than, but not much. I used VersaMark and heat embossed the tag. Had I wanted to be even quicker, I could have used White Craft Ink. But, you know I LOVE to heat emboss. For the stepped up version, I just punched out the tag part with the Everyday Label Punch and adhered it to the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
What’s a tag without the pertinent information? Who is it for? Who is it from? I stamped the “For / From” from the Merry Little Labels stamp set with Garden Green Ink and then used the Real Red Marker (from the Brights collection) to color the berries. Last thing, I punched it out with the 2″ Circle Punch. Be careful how you place it on the back of the tag, it just fits!

There is still a few hours to vote for my card over at Kylie Bertucci’s Blog Highlights. If I am voted in the Top Ten, I’ll get to be in a blog hop. Yea. My project is # 18. Thanks

Thanks for stopping by today. The next few days are a little shaky as far as blog posts go. We finally decided to replace the carpet in my craft room (which is also our second guest bedroom). The carpet was long past needing to be replaced since I’ve spilled or dropped ink, glue and heavens knows what else on the floor. Laminate should be easier to keep clean! But, the process involves moving just about everything out of the room. Forced clean up, clear out, give away, etc. Tomorrow is floor installation day! I’ll share pictures soon.
