Mark Your Place with In Colors

I received a few boxes of new catalogs late Thursday. Since then I’ve been busy delivering them to local customers and mailing to those far away. I made a bookmark for each one using some of the new In Colors, a new stamp set and some new Designer Paper. Such fun!

These are just a few of the bookmarks. I had already delivered or mailed many of the catalogs when I remembered to take a picture!

It was so much fun to use the new stamp set, Varied Vases. And, just to make life easy, there is a punch to go with the stamp set, Vase Builder Punch. The stamp set and Punch are a bundle. BUY THE BUNDLE! Save 10%. Well, buy it as soon as you can.

I tried to get a little of each of the In Colors on each tag. The vase on each of them was stamped with the new Blueberry Bushel and then punched out with the Vase Builder Punch. I stamped the first layer of the flowers with Pineapple Punch and used a Call Me Clover Marker for the stem. I stamped some Grapefruit Grove ink on top for the second part of the flower. The “Thank You” sentiment was stamped with Lovely Lipstick. There – all five colors! I used some of the paper from the 6″ x 6″ In Color Designer Series Paper to frame the stamped piece.

Hanging Garden Occasions Catalog Bookmarks

I might be a little behind schedule. Yesterday I mailed out the new Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure to all my distant customers. Hopefully, they will be able to start the new year making a wish list of items from the catalog. To help them keep their place, I created a bookmark using the Hanging Garden stamp set. It’s one of my new favorites from the Occasions Catalog.

Doesn’t it make you think of spring!?

Design Notes for Hanging Garden Bookmark:

Working with this stamp set just made me happy! Flower basket – coloring – what more could I ask? I used my Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers. Nothing fancy, no blending even. I just wanted to use them because I could! The bookmark itself is pretty straightforward. First I cut Peekaboo Peach card stock cut to 2″ x 5 1/2″ . Next I punched the top with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and added the Berry Burst Crinkled Seam Binding. The flower basket was stamped with Memento ink. After stamping, I colored each of them with the Stampin’ Blends (my favorite part) and cut out with Paper Snips. The sentiment at the bottom is also from the Hanging Garden stamp set.

Here are all the bookmarks set out for me to admire!

After the photos were taken, I gathered up all of the tags. A bouquet of Berry Burst Ribbon!
