Perennial Essence Suite is Sweet!

As soon as I saw the Perennial Essence suite of products I knew it would be one of my favorites. The Perennial Essence Paper is truly dreamy, the stamps are beautiful. Then there is a punch, ribbon and vellum. You can’t ask for more! Here’s a birthday card made with some of the suite products.

Design Notes for Perennial Essence Suite Card:

I think the card has an elegant look. The Perennial Essence Designer Paper is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen. Here’s a close up of the paper.

Doesn’t it remind you of a Monet painting?

One of the things I like best about the stamp set is that there are two different kinds of flowers in the same set. I used the softer flower stamped off in the background. The other flower is made from using the three petal punch stamp on vellum. I used the Perennial Flower Punch to punch out the petal. When you are stamping on vellum, use care. It takes a while for the ink to dry. You can move this along (if you are impatient like myself) by hitting it with the Heat Tool for a few seconds.

Finally, I also used the softer flower on the envelope. Just the right touch, I think.

This and That:

If you are reading this post early enough, you should be able to get some Trimmer Blades. Recall that Stampin’ Up! removed the Trimmer from the catalog because of production issues. Many of us love our trimmer and need blades to hold us until a new trimmer is offered. (We hope that will be soon!) If you are looking for blades, today is the day. They will be available at 10AM (Mountain time, Noon Eastern Daylight time). There is a limit of 3 packages that can be ordered. Don’t wait!!!! The item number is 126995.

Ready to order? Please use the Host Code for June, which is TRSWEMYM. If on-line orders total $150 or more, you will be eligible to win the Host Benefits for those orders. I’ll also send along a little gift with your thank you card for any purchases over $50.
