Yesterday, I showed you what I made with this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit called, You Are My Anchor. (Here in case you missed it.) I love using what’s leftover to create something new. As soon as I saw the kit, I knew what I would do. In May of 2016, my husband and I were on the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip, a cruise through the Mediterranean. What a great trip! I have been scrapping that trip in bits here and there and yesterday afternoon, did another page. We were lucky enough to be in Cannes, France for our anniversary. We spent a beautiful day in port and then had a fabulous dinner at one of the special restaurants on board.
I added the papers and used a marker but other than that, everything was left over from the kit. And, I still have more!
One of the best things about Paper Pumpkin is the stamp set, which I still have. I’ll use that for other pages in this book.
Supply List for You Are My Anchor Scrapbook Page:
Wouldn’t You Like to Earn a Trip?
There are so many great things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator… the discount, getting new products early, the friendships, the events, and perhaps even a special trip. I’ll admit, I worked hard to earn that trip. But, it was so worth it. Stampin’ Up! always treats demonstrators well, but the Incentive trips are over the top! Show, stamping opportunities and special terrific gifts every day. Would you like to earn a trip like that? All you need to do to get started is to purchase the Starter Kit. It’s $99 and you get to select $125. in merchandise from either the Annual Catalog or the the Occasions Catalog, or even from the Clearance Rack. I’d love to have you join my team and will help you in any way I can if you are interested in becoming a business minded demonstrator. Just call or email me with your questions. ([email protected]) If you’re ready to join my team now, just click on the image below. You won’t be sorry!
Hope you are having a great day!
Well that is a mouthful! Positively Picturesque is the name of this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. Here’s a look at what’s in the kit. This month’s kit had two Stampin’ Squares, Soft Sky and Tranquil Tide.
The kit made eight cards, two each of four designs, with lined envelopes. The stamp set is one I know I will use again. And I always love it when Washi tape is included. Here are the cards.
Alternate Positively Picturesque Project:
There was lots of Washi tape left over and of course, the stamps and ink. so, with just a little of my card stock, I made this card.
I am thinking that I will be making this card for my July customers as a thank you.
Are you one of my customers? It’s easy to become one. Just click on the “Shop Now ” button below. Remember that during July, for each $50 you spend, you earn a coupon to use in August!.

So excited! I always look forward to receiving my Paper Pumpkin kit. I knew it would be a special kit because our CEO, Sara Douglass, was involved in designing it. The kit definitely lives up to it’s promise! In addition to being very cool and edgy, there is a gift enclosed, FREE Watercolor Pencils! Does it get any better? I think not! This month’s kit contained lots of goodies. I couldn’t get them all in one photo!
Here’s the video from Paper Pumpkin that will show you all the assembly tips. They managed to get everything in one photo.
My Paper Pumpkin Cards:
I had so much fun with this kit! Notice my cards are a little different from Sara’s. I don’t always follow directions well!
Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin:
There are two different ways you can subscribe. You can get a subscription month to month. (Just go to paperpumpkin.com for this type of subscription.) Each month you will automatically be billed for your kit. It will come to your mailbox each month almost like magic You can stop or pause at any time. The second way to subscribe is to sign up for a Prepaid subscription. Kits will come for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or even a year. All paid at once with no worries!
Extra Perk for subscribers! Subscribers have access to a selection of past kits and refills.
I have one extra of this Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin before May 10, you could win this kit! Just subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, list me as your demonstrator and you are in the running. The only way to get this month’s kit is to currently be a subscriber. You had to have been subscribing by April 10. I am sure that refills for this kit will be limited, so this might be the only way you can get this kit. Good luck!!! (US residents only.)
On Thursday I had four teeth pulled. Pretty much a lost day. So, what did I do on Friday? More ice, some rinsing, nothing too strenuous. But, I was, according to my husband, “more alert”. I enjoyed some soup that good neighbors brought me. But, I was itching to do something “stampy”
Here’s task one. I’m reorganized my Paper Pumpkin stamps in my Project Life Album. I have a book set aside for that but decided to reorganize the stamps by category, rather than by just putting in the next month. Putting the stamps in a Project Life Album is such a great system – not original to me but one I embrace.
Organizing Paper Pumpkin Stamps:
Once I finish with my monthly Paper Pumpkin kit, I put the stamps in a Project Life Photo Pocket Page. Up until now, It’s been pretty random. I decided to organize them by occasion, holidays, birthday, etc.
Organizing Paper Pumpkin stamps:
If you are going to organize you stamps, first, gather them all together,Then sort them. Sometimes the sets cover multiple holidays or events, like thanks and birthday in the same set. So, some sets are broken up.
Here are the categories I ended up with:
- Thank You
- Hello/Get Well / Thinking of You
- Christmas / Fall Holidays
- Valentine / Mother’s Day/ Father’s Day
- Sympathy / Miscellaneous
Next I took some white board that you get in the packages of Designer Paper and created dividers.
I labeled the dividers, punched holes on the side, and inserted them in the book.
You may want to cut some card stock to place behind the stamps so that you can see them better.
If you have the stamps organized in a way that makes sense to you, you will use them more often. I like to have my book out for all of my classes so that if folks want to change the sentiment, it’s easy for them.
What’s on for tomorrow?
I’m planning my Newsletter. Are you on my Newsletter mailing list? If you sign up by Tuesday morning at 10 AM, your name will be entered into a lottery for a package of Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape.
