Did you know this month’s Paper Pumpkin was really special? Paper Pumpkin turned 5 this month! The kit is super and a gift was enclosed. I had fun yesterday putting the kit together and am now working on an alternate project that I’ll show you tomorrow. I’ll use left over materials and maybe one or two things in addition. But now, let’s reveal this months’ kit, May Good Things Grow.
Aren’t they beautiful?
Here’s a close up of the birthday card. But, be sure to notice the envelope, I think it is at least as pretty as the card!
There is also a friendship card. I already know who will get these cards!
Well, the good news for me is that I get two of these kits every month. The bad news is that they have already sold out!
Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin:
If you subscribe now, you can get the April Kit. If you have never subscribed before you can get 50% off your first two months! Isn’t that great! Remember, if you are a new subscriber, I’ll send you a Pierce Mat. Why a Pierce Mat? All the stamp sets that come with the Paper Pumpkin kits are photopolymer. When you stamp with those stamps, it’s best to use a foam mat under the paper to make sure your image is clear and lovely. I always want your stamping to be fun and successful!

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see my alternate project creations.
Just wanted to make a quick post to show you a little note card I created with some leftover materials from this month’s Wildflower Wishes Paper Pumpkin kit.
Do you remember the cards I made a week or so ago from this month’s kit? Check them out here if you like. I had some lovely stickers left over and a sheet of vellum leaves. Also, I had some letters leftover. I took the “b” from celebrate and made it into an “h”. then I was able to write ‘hi”.
The flower stickers were part of the original kit as was the stamp I used on some Sahara Sand card stock. I also sponged the Whisper White card stock with some Sahara Sand ink. Really, aside from the note card, all I needed was a bit of Saraha Sand card stock and some Sahara Sand ink.
If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, now is the time time change that. The March kit will be mailed out soon. The box will be special and contain a gift in addition to the usual kit goodies. But, you must subscribve by March 10.
Remember, if you purchase $50 or more you can select a FREE Sale-A-Bration item. So, get the three month subscription and start have a great monthly crafting treat.
Hope you are having a good weekend.
It’s always fun to see how I can use some of the extra parts of the Paper Pumpkin Kit each month. I love doing the projects and then see what I have left over. There are always fun things left over! This time I started changing things up before I even finished. I think the Wildflower Wishes kit is one of the prettiest kits so far! Here’s a look at what I completed.
There are materials to make 9 cards in the kit, 3 thank you cards, 3 birthday and 3 friend cards. I needed more than three thank you cards, so I got a bit creative. The directions call for peeling off the negative space and putting it on the floral tag. I did that but then saved the left over letters. I used those letters to create another tag.
Here are my two versions of the Thank You card.
Here’s a quick video from Stampin’ Up! with directions for putting the cards together.

The January Paper Pumpkin kit, Heart Felt Love Notes was so much fun! The materials could be used to make cards or, as I did, treat holders. Since I get two kits each month, I should have enough for everyone in my monthly classes.
Here’s a close up of one of the treat holders.
And, of course, you want to know what kind of candy I’m giving everyone.
