Well, I hope you are not getting tired of seeing the April Paper Pumpkin kit, You Are My Anchor . I showed you the kit as I made it. (See it here.) Then I showed you a scrapbook page I created with some of the leftover materials. (See it here.) Well, today I want to show you one more little project I made, a congratulations card. A friend recently earned a Greek Isles cruise through Stampin’ Up! and I wanted to send her a card. This was the perfect kit to use for that!
Aren’t they cute stamps?
Design Notes for You Are My Anchor Card:
This card went together so quickly! I used some Calypso Coral and some Tranquil Tide ink to stamp the images on Whisper White card stock. The striped piece is a scrap I had from the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. The other things, the lifesaver, the circle, the banner and the twine were all left over from the kit.
Here’s a peek at the inside.
I also used a scrap of the Whole Lot of Lovely Paper to add a special look to the envelope flap.

Okay, I’ve probably said this before, but really, this month’s Paper Pumpkin is a knock out and definitely one of my favorites. It was chock full of materials and a great stamp set. I made 20 – yes – 20 3″ x 3″ note cards, with envelopes. There were materials to make four each of five different cards. Here’s a look at what I made.
And to top it all off, there were four adorable little boxes to decorate. I’m planning to fill the boxes with the note cards and use them for door prizes at my May card classes.
