The son of one of our neighbors is getting married soon. I wanted to make a special wedding card and knew that Woven Heirlooms stamp set would be the way to go. What do you think?
Design Notes for Woven Heirlooms Card:
As you can see, I used a bit of copper heat embossing on this card. The wedding invitation had copper so I thought it would work well. The sentiment is heat embossed as are both of the borders on either side of the sentiment layer. Do you recognize that paper? It’s from the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. I did something I hardly ever think to do, that is to emboss on designer paper. I think it worked out well on this. Here’s a look at that Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.
The flower is from the lovely Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. I heat embossed it also and then colored in with Watercolor Pencils. After coloring, I used a Blender Pen to smooth out the coloring. The Magnolia Memory Dies made it easy to cut out the flower. The final touch was to add a little knot of the Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim.
