On Sunday, Jerry and I attended a benefit concert at Neumann College in Aston, PA. Our good friend Jack Giamplami sang with the Brass Tacks Orchestra. It was a great event for a great cause. At one point the orchestra played the theme from “Rocky”. Jack then came out and showed an “Italian Stallion” tee shirt. He then threw the shirt out into the audience. Guess who caught it! Since Jack’s birthday is coming up, I thought I’d use Custom Tee to make his birthday card and throw it his way.
Here’s Jack’s t-shirt.
Jack, sort of, wearing the shirt!
Design Notes for Custom Tee Card
I understand that the t-shirt was part of a long ago Halloween costume. It reminded me of a basketball t-shirt and so I used the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper to simulate a basketball floor.(Obviously not the parquet of The Boston Garden.) I cut the paper into 1 3/4″ in strips so that it would look more like a floor! It was a little bare looking so I added some stars from one of the stamps.that made me happy.
Supply List for Custom Tee Card:
This is really a “Hello” and “Goodbye” card. The Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Stack will be available in just a few days, June 1. In fact, both items are on sale (Stamp set $19.50 and Framelits $15.)
