I love a good play on words. We’ll Walrus Be Friends is as good as they get. Don’t you love it? I decided to make a card for a friend who is going through a bit of a rough time. That seemed to work out well since the theme for Kylie Bertucci’s Blog Highlights is encouragement.
Be sure to hop over to Kylie Bertucci’s Highlights page by clicking on the banner below. Please vote for my card, #17.
Design Notes for We’ll Walrus Be Friends:
Isn’t this just too cute? I really love that walrus. I used the Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends to color him in after I stamped him (or her?) in Soft Suede ink. The background piece was embossed with the subtle Dynamic Embossing folder to add a little texture. Other than that is was a pretty easy card.

Have you thought about becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? You can select $125 in catalog merchandise for just $99. And you can pick your items from either the Annual Catalog or the Holiday catalog.
What does it mean to be a demonstrator? It does NOT mean that you have to hold classes or sell millions each year! What it does mean is that you can purchase whatever you want for 20 or even 25% off. It means you get to see and purchase items before everyone else. It means you can be part of a fun team. Call or email me if you have questions. I have many hobby demonstrators on my team. Want to be one too?
Thanks for stopping by today!
