Thank you. Two little words that can mean so much. I seem to always need some thank you cards. I just love the Free as a Bird stamp set and knew it would be perfect for a sweet thank you card.
I’m not sure what kind of bird I created here. I didn’t have any special bird in mind, I just liked the colors!
Design Notes for Free As A Bird Card:
This is actually a card we made in my July card classes. I think everyone liked it! Do you notice the bird and the branch behind him? We used masking to add the branch. (Otherwise it would have looked like the bird was being impaled by the branch! )
Using a mask is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Stamp the bird on a piece of Whisper White card stock.
2. Place a mask over the stamped bird. A mask in this case is another stamped bird that has been cut out. Use just the tiniest bit of SNAIL adhesive so that the bird won’t move.
3. Stamp with branch. When you remove the mask, the bird will have a branch behind him, not in him.
