Oops! I forgot a birthday. I hate it when that happens, don’t you? But, I got to card making and hope this cute card will help the receiver overlook the lateness.
I also made this card for this week’s Global Design Challenge. Be sure to click on the banner below to go over to their page and see all of the great cards with balloons.
Design Notes for This Little Piggy Belated Card:
Well, the piggy in the stamp set is holding a flower, but that didn’t stop me from adding balloons. After I colored him in with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen, I cut it out – and cut off the flower and stamp. It was easy to then add some balloons, one stamped with a greeting from Itty Bitty Birthdays.
The fun part of this card was adding the clouds. Easy to do with some Shimmery White Embossing Paste and a Palette Knife. And, do you like the little kisses on the balloons? I think I just discovered that stamp!

Have you thought about becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? It does NOT mean that you have to hold classes or sell millions each year! What it does mean is that you can purchase whatever you want for 20 or even 25% off. It means you get to see and purchase items before everyone else. It means you can be part of a fun team. Call or email me if you have questions. I have many hobby demonstrators on my team. Want to be one too?
Thanks for stopping by today!
