Well, we are back, just in time to hang our stockings. Our trip was wonderful. We visited lots of Christmas markets in beautiful cities and towns along the Rhine River. Really, the trip of a lifetime. But, back to reality. Here’s a card I created a while back for November card class. Seems appropriate for Christmas Eve!

It was fun to color with our Stampin’ Blends.

Design Notes for Stocking Card:

Well, not that I think you are going to drop everything and make this card but you might want to think about it for next year. It was really pretty simple.

First, we stamped the stocking and sentiment on some Whisper White card stock, then colored the stocking with Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends and, my favorite, Wink of Stella.

The Real Red card stock was embossed with the Quilt Top embossing folder and adhered to the beautiful Gold Foil Edged card base.

I added to ribbons to the stocking after I cut it out. I added one of the Samta’s Workshop Enamel Shapes to the sentiment to finish it off.

Purchase List for Stocking Card:

Remember, if you want to think about making this for next year, many of these items will retire on January 2.

This and That:

Have a wonderful Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by.
