This year, Stampin’ Up! is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary. WOW! Thirty year of great stamps, coordinating ink and paper colors, beautiful designer papers, innovative tools and lots more. Global Design Project is having a challenge this week to create a card to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s anniversary.
Did you count the stars? Only count the ones actually on the card. I’ll bet you can guess how many I punched out for this.
Here’s the logo and link for this challenge. Be sure to go on over to Global Design to see all the great cards and projects.
Design Notes for Happy Anniversary Stampin’ Up!:
I think it took me longer to come up with the idea of this design that it do to actually make the card! Did you guess how many stars? Thirty of course! It was easy to punch them out with the Twinkle Builder Punch and add them to the front with Glue Dots. Since I wanted something with stars, I used some of the Twinkle, Twinkle Designer Paper for the background. I set off the Night of Navy with a soft and lovely card base of Soft Sea Foam. Such a great color. I also cut the “Celebrate” from some Soft Sea Foam card stock. I added some of the beautiful Textured Weave Ribbon to add some depth and dimension to the card front. That’s about it. Sometimes the easy cards do just wht you want them to do!
