Goddaughter Caroline recently told me that her son Aidan made the Philadelphia Archdiocesan band and is first chair for the trumpet. Pretty big accomplishment for a ten year old! So, of course, a congratulations card was in order. I decided to use the Friendly Expressions stamp set and the Sheet Music set for this #simplestamping card.
I think this is a pretty easy card although I did use heat embossing. Still….
Design Notes for Friendly Expressions Card:
Well, isn’t the Sheet Music backgrond stamp really the only thing that would work on this card? It’s a little hard to see but the card base is Tranquil Tide and so I used Tranquil Tide ink for the music. The sentiment was stamped with Versa Mark and then heat embossed with black powder. The think the Gold Foil really sets the card front off nicely.
