Yes, it’s Monday again. That means it’s time for another masculine themed card. Although, I think this one would be fine for just about anyone! I had fun using the Broadway Birthday Bundle for this card. I didn’t use the coordinating Broadway Lights Designer paper (though I love it!) Study the card and see if you can figure out which package of Designer Paper I used.
Are you running to get your catalogs to see which paper it is?
Design Notes for Broadway Birthday Bundle:
I love the color combination of Black, White and Poppy Parade, don’t you?
I think it’s a classic color combo.
When I thought about stamping on the Poppy Parade, I was worried that I wouldn’t get a clear image with the Basic Black ink. The ink seems to soak into paper that is not Whisper White or Very Vanilla. Stamparatus to the rescue. Using the Stamparatus, I knew I could stamp the image multiple times without messing up!
Here’s the first stamping.
You can see, especially on the “S” and “H” that it’s just not making it. I stamped again, actually a total of four times (Three times probably would have been fine, I never know when to quit.)
Nice, right? the Stamparatus also made it easy for me to go back and stamp the white dots on “WISH”.
The rest of the card was just a matter of cutting out with the Framelits.
Oh, have you solved the mystery? The paper is from the Tropical Escape 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper Stack. Surprise!
