This week Global Design Project is celebrating it’s 150th post. How could I not participate? I love the sketch. Here’s my take on the sketch using the Tropical Chic stamp set and Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper.

Design Notes for Tropical Chic Card:

Don’t you just love that Tropical Escape Designer Paper? I think the colors are just terrific. Here’s what I picked out from the paper:

There are some small dots of Blushing Bride on the Designer paper that I used on this card. I tried to bring them out a bit by using some Blushing Bride card stock for the banner and behind the leaf. I also added some Blushing Bride ink to the Glimmer Paper. Have you ever done that. It’s really easy to color Glimmer Paper. It just takes a sponge or Dauber and ink. I did a video about this a while back. You might want to check it out.

Supply List for Tropical Chic Card:

August Specials:

Want to Win a Free Stamp Pad?

Stampin’ Up! is rewarding demonstrators who sell 10 stamp pads or more during the month of August. I sell ten ink pads, I get a FREE ink pad. If I sell ten ink pads, I’m giving away the one I earn to someone who purchased an ink pad in August.

So, purchase a regular ink pad (not Versamark, Memento, Staz-On or uninked Craft Pads) and you have a chance to win another one!
