Today I am participating in Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Hop. The theme is friendship. I decided to make a birthday card for one of my neighbors. She is turning 90!  I used the new Stampin’ Up! placement tool, the Stampartus and a technique using the Stamparatus to make a wreath. I’ve even made a video for you!

Happy birthday gorgeous, Stamparatus, Stampin' Up!,

Be sure to check out the rest of the hop. I know there will be lots of wonderful cards and projects.

Design Notes for Stamparatus Wreath Card:

The video will show you how I made the wreath part. Working with the Stamparatus is a joy! I hope you can overlook my little error. Had I not been filming, I would have stopped and started over!

I wanted some texture in the background and what is better for texture than an embossing folder. I used the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. The most fun was adding some embellishments from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit. The other thing I did to add some texture and interest is that I sponged the two top layers with some Petal Pink ink. Such an easy technique and one that adds so much.

Happy birthday gorgeous, Stamparatus, Stampin' Up!,
