Each month I try to send my customers a thank you note. Of course, I make the card! This month, I need quite a few and decided to make my own Designer Paper with the Abstract Impressions stamp set. (I’m not sure why since we have so many beautiful Designer Papers that are on sale this month!) Nonetheless, I thought it came out pretty nicely.

This week’s challenge over at Global Design Project is a color challenge. I think it’s a perfect combination.

Design Notes for Abstract Impressions Card:

I knew I would need quite a bit of my home grown Designer Paper so I started out with a 12″ x 12″ sheet of Whisper White Card Stock.

For the flowers, I first stamped off with some Grapefruit Grove ink. For the next layer I used the same color but did not stamp off first. With this technique, it appears as though I’ve used two different colors. But, now you know my secret.

The beautiful Fresh Fig butterfly was cut with one of the dies from the Springtime Impressions Dies set. This die set coordinates with the Abstract Impressions stamp set. It’s a great bundle! Buy the bundle, save 10%!
