I purchased the Lined Alphabet stamp set a few weeks ago. It seems to have gotten lost on my desk (yes, entirely possible.) What a fun set. I realized as soon as I studied it that it is a perfect way to use my Stampin’ Blends.

Design Notes for Lined Alphabet Card:

I stamped the letters with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Since they are photopolymer stamps, it was easy to line them up. To achieve the ombre look. I first with colored a letter with the lightest Blend. Then, starting at the bottom of the letter, I added a bit of the darker color. After that, I went back and blended the colors a bit with the lighter marker. Easy.

I started to add “You” that I had cut out with the Celebrate You thinlits. I realized that the letters in “Thanks” were outlined in black. So, I took a Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker and just went around the edges of the “You”. Subtle but it worked.

A little piece of Silver Baker’s Twine on the strip of Calypso Coral and I was done.

Supply List for Lined Alphabet Card:

Hope you are having a great day. This weekend is very busy for me. I’m having an event to sell my retired items and show new catalog things on Sunday. Lots of work getting samples ready, Make and Takes, Goodie Bags and of course, refreshments. However, I do plan to post something wonderful tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by today.
