Got an occasions that calls for a loud Hooray? Or even three Hoorays? Confetti Celebration is what you need. But, get it soon. It is retiring at the end of this month. My May card classes made this card using this great set last week.
This card is for graduation but could easily be for Birthday for a favorite guy. I actually CASed this card from Heather at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday. She originally made it as a birthday card.
Design Notes for Confetti Celebration Card:
Don’t you love the colors on this one?
Sad to say, these colors are also leaving at the end of this month.
After embossing a piece of Whisper White card stock, I topped it with a small strip of paper from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper (yes, also retiring). I wrapped some Silver and White Bakers Twine around both pieces before adhering to the Emerald Envy card base.
Next, I used the Teeny, Tiny Wishes (retiring) stamp set for the Happy Graduation sentiment. I punched it out with the Duet Banner Punch. There are two possible punches with this. I used the larger one for the background Emerald Envy banner. The Emerald Envy piece makes the sentiment pop.
I finished off the card with a few Metallic Enamel Shapes. Just right.
The inside sentiment seems to work for birthday or graduation, don’t you think?
