A few weeks ago, I made some tri-fold cards and a video tutorial. You can see them here and here. I decided to make another one for a friend who is going through some tough times. The tri-fold card is fun to make. Additionally, this week’s challenge over at Global Design Project is to create “Just a note to say…” I wanted my friend to know that I’m thinking of her and know that everything will be okay. Here’s my card.
Here’s the link and logo for Global Design Project. Go on over to see all the other great cards.
Design Notes for Tri-Fold Card:
If you watch my video, you’ll see how easy it is to make one of these cards. I changed it up a bit today by adhering the right hand side. The other little change is that I added some ribbon around the front flap. Because it wouldn’t lay flat, I added the ribbon and adhered it to the inside. I didn’t want the ends of the ribbon visible so I just covered it with an additional piece of Whisper White card stock.
By the way, you can get to the video by clicking on the header above that says, “Video Tutorials”. Look for the one called “Diagonal Tri-Fold”. Yes, I know that title is so very clever. Thanks.
I love this flower. It’s from a stamp set called Birthday Blooms. I colored it with some Stampin’ Blends and the fussy cut with my Paper Snips. Sadly, the stamp set is going to retire in a week or so. If you like it too, make sure to go the my 24-7 on-line store and order. (Just click on the image below and you will go right to that page.)
