When the Occasions catalog came out, I HAD to have the Shimmery White Embossing Paste. Have you seen all of the cards and projects I made using it? NO, neither have I. Somehow, it got a little lost and I forgot about it. I rediscovered it yesterday and am so happy that I did. Something different was called for in making a card for this week’s Global Design Project challenge.
It’s a bit of a different card for me!
Here’s the inspiration chard for this challenge. I think it is so beautiful!

Design Notes for Shimmery White Embossing Paste Card:
Can you see the elements of the inspiration card that I used? The shape appealed to me. I really just cut down a standard A2 card. The card base for my sample measures 3 1/2″ x 11″ and is scored at 5 1/2″ . I also centered my design on the right side and left some open space on the left side.
I pulled out the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and used the Shimmery Paste. The paste really does shimmer! Next, I wanted to add some more shimmer and shine so I looped some Silver Baker’s Twine behind the sentiment. Finally, I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots over on the left. I debated with myself about stamping the sentiment in Basic Black or adding just a hint of color. Cherry Cobbler won the debate.

Paper Pumpkin March Surprise:
Sometimes as demonstrators we get a peek at upcoming new stamps or other catalog items. This month, the 5th Anniversary Paper Pumpkin Kit has a special box and a special, extra crafting gift. I have no idea what it is and can’t wait to get my March kit. You can still subscribe in time to get the March kit with all of its surprises. Anyone who signs up in time to get the March kit will get a gift from me as well. Since all of the stamps are photopolymer, I’ll send you a Piercing Mat to use with your stamps. Win, win, win! Right?
Hope you are having a great day and the weather is being cooperative!
