The other day, I noticed a stamp set on my shelf and realized I’d hardly used it at all. Since I know so many people who are suffering with the flu, or bronchitis, I decided I could use a few get well cards.  Sorry for Everything stamp set sees ink!

Sorry for Everything stamp set, get well, #GDP120, Stampin' Up!,

The real inspiration for this card came from this week’s Global Design Project, Case the Designer Challenge. I loved the soft colors and touches of gold and silver on Krista Frattin’s card and used that as a jumping off point.

Design Notes for Sorry for Everything Get Well Card:

Whenever I need something soft and subtle for a background, one of my ‘go to’ stamp sets is Touches of Texture. There are so many great designs in the set. I can always find something I need. I picked one of the texture images and stamped with some Soft Sky ink. Next, I added the sentiments with Basic Black ink. The gold and silver touches came from Metallic Foil Doilies and some Metallic Enamel Shapes. The Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon and Soft Sky card stock layer tied it all together.

Here’s a good look at the Sorry For Everything stamp set. Lots of sentiments you need.
