The stamp set, At Home with You is in the annual catalog. It is in the Everyday Occasions section, not the Holiday section. In fact, I’m finding it to be one of the most versatile sets I own! I’ve used it for new house cards, for autumn greetings and for birthday.
Today, I’m showing you my latest effort with this stamp set, a Christmas card.
I actually made two versions of the card. It is one of the cards people in my December classes will make and they may opt not to use one of the Boxwood Wreaths. Not sure how they will do in the mail. So, here is the alternate version.
Design Notes for At Home With You Card:
If you like to color, you will love making a card like this. First, I stamped the door, the planter, the package and the wreath, then colored them with Watercolor Pencils. Next, I used a Blender Pen to smooth everything out. Finally, I used the At Home Thinlits to cut out the pieces. They all were adhered to the piece of Night of Navy. I had used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. Be sure to use lots of adhesive when you adhere things to paper that has been embossed.
