I thought a long time about purchasing the Large Letters Framelits. Would I use them enough to make it worthwhile? Well, I’ve been having a great time with them. They are so versatile! I’ve used them for eclipse technique or cutting out the letters as I did with this card.

#GDP109, Large Letter Framelits, Card Front Builder Framelits, Merry Music Speciality Designer Series Paper

The interesting thing is that the carol on the Merry Music paper is Cantique de Noël!

I was inspired to create this card by this week’s color challenge over at Global Design Project. You should check it out. Lots of great projects there!

#GDP109Design Notes for Large Letters Noel Card:

Here’s a tip for placing the Large Letters. When I use the cut out letters from Large Letters Framelits, I always use a ruler and my grid paper to line up the letters. I use Multipupose Liquid Glue for adhering the letters. That way, I can move them a bit as I lay them down.

Since the color challenge included Old Olive, I added a tree using the Card Front Builder Thinlits. It needed just the tiniest bit of glimmer so I used Gold Stampin’ Glitter to add just a little kick.
