A high school friend of mine recently receive an impressive promotion. Yes, some of my classmates are still working! I wanted to send her a congratulations card and also wanted to try out a new technique I saw called Middle. You’ll figure out the reason for that name pretty quickly! Since I love the Oh So Eclectic stamp set, I decided to use that.
So, do you see why the technique is called “Middle”?
Design Notes for Oh So Eclectic Card:
This was definitely a fun card to create.
- Stamp sentiment in the middle of layer.
- Place some Post-It notes over the sentiment, leaving room above the sentiment.
- Stamp images, in this case flowers from Oh So Eclectic.
- Replace Post-It Notes, covering the sentiment, but exposing the space beneath the sentiment.
- Stamp more flowers.
- Add lines above and below the sentiment using a Stampin’ Write marker. I used Dapper Denim.
Didn’t I say it was fun? It’s pretty easy also.
Please email me if you’d like a more detailed tutorial. ([email protected])
For the final touch I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers. I do love my Wink of Stella!
Supply List for Oh So Eclectic Card:
Note that both stamp set I used are available in both clear mount and wood mount. Take your pick.
