In case you have made your way to the end of the new Holiday Catalog, very near the end you’ve seen the Spooky Night Suite. I LOVE IT!! There’s Designer paper, stamps, a cat punch, ribbons, and even Treat Tubes! Oh, and Black Rhinestones! What more could you want to create terrific Halloween cards and treat holders? I decided to use some of the products to create little wrappers for the Halloween Tic Tacs I found in my local supermarket. These will be door prizes for my monthly card classes. Winner!
Design Notes for Spooky Night Suite Treats:
These truly were pretty easy to make. I folded the paper around, and scored as I went since the top on one side is a little wider than the other. It required a little bit of fussing. I also cut down the wrapper a bit where the flip top is. The cat got a little lost when I put it on the Spooky Night Designer Paper. So, I just punched out another cat from Basic Black card stock and off-set that one behind the stamped one. The shadow was all it needed to stand out. And don’t you love the Vintage Crochet Trim collar?
After I finished the prototype, I realized I didn’t like see the ‘naked’ container top. Bring in the Washi Tape. I used the Old Olive tape from the Washi Basic Pack 2.
Supply List for Spooky Night Suite Treats:
