As if there wasn’t lots to love with the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper, I found something else. The various flowered ones are just so beautiful. But one day recently I noticed a sheet that has drops of color on it, Lemon Lime Twist, Emerald Envy and Soft Sky. It reminded me of dots made with Daubers. So, there you have it, inspiration for this card.

Design Notes for Daubers Birthday Card:

Well, the color combination was so easy to come up. I just looked at the paper and there they were.

The sentiment is from Vertical Greetings stamp set which, as you know, is one of my favorite stamp sets.  If you make a card like this, be sure to stamp the sentiment first and use the darkest color ink. After that add as many dots with the daubers as you like! The final touch was to add some Emerald Envy Crinkled Seam Binding. I added a little piece of Linen Thread just to add a little interest. If this card looks familiar, I CASED the layout from one of my own cards. Check it out here. If you want to know more about CASEing cards (Copy And Share Everywhere) check out my YouTube channel here. I have 4 videos that demonstrate various ways to get some inspiration for card making.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card and the envelope. I like how the daubered dots echo the design on the front of the card. I took the inside sentiment from the Better Together stamp set.

Supply List for Daubers Birthday Card:

Oh happy day, both stamp sets come in either clear mount or wood mount.
