Are you always in a quandary when it comes to creating cards for guys? Me too. However, I think the Happy Celebrations stamp set is the answer to your problem. I know it helped me! Combine this stamp set with some Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and you’ve got it made, well, almost.

And here is a peek at the inside. I love this particular stamp. I can see using it for other celebrations as well.

Design Notes for Happy Celebrations  Card:

This is really a clean and simple card. The only stamping was the sentiment on the front. It is actually two stamps and I carefully placed them on one block (E). I like to use grid paper when I am lining up stamps on the clear blocks. That way I know that everything is straight.

So, first stamp on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I choose one of the lighter pieces so that the sentiment would stand out. Next I adhered to the Very Vanilla piece and then added the Copper Trim. That’s really about it. Oh, and finally, I added the sentiment inside. Really, that’s it! Easy, right?

Supply List for Happy Celebrations Card:

Notice, I used both the Thick card stock and regular. Thick is great for the card base.

Another day, I will use this set for a different occasion and you will see how versatile it is. In the meantime, look on page 34 in the catalog!
