A young woman I know has been in the hospital for over a week. She was in ICU for a week. A terrible infection brought on a fever of almost 107°. Thanks to prayer and good care, she is recovering. I knew that there would be an appropriate sentiment in the Greatest Greetings stamp set. I paired that stamp with Kinda Eclectic to come up with this card.

Greatest Greetings, Kinda Eclectic, get well, sponging, Stampin' Up!, diannescards.com

She is a strong person and I know will get well as soon as she can. A little encouragement never hurts!

I also was looking a little inspiration and used this week’s Global Design Challenge as a kick start. Sketch Challenge are always fun for me.

Design Notes for Greatest Greetings Card:

Do you like the background? After I heat embossed the butterflies and the sunburst with Clear Embossing Powder, I used Sponge Brayers to apply some Flirty Flamingo ink to the images. I was trying for an ombre effect. I think I was somewhat successful!

Have you tried the Sponge Brayers? They are so much fun!

Regrettably, both stamp sets are going  to retire in a few short weeks. Make sure you order now to get those sets. Greatest Greetings is a real go to set for me.
