A few years back, my BFF and I started meeting in New York City to see an Opera and do whatever else appealed to us. I lived in Massachusetts, she’s near Philadelphia so it was a great way to get ttogether. Sometimes we included friends or family. We seem to average this about every two years. It’s always a great time! We just spent a few days in NYC in March, part of the time with my friends daughter (my goddaughter) and granddaughter. Last night, I decided to get those memories organized. What better way than using Project Life materials? The first page I did was more traditional, a 12″ x 12″ page. (The earlier parts of the book are all traditional.)
Design Notes for Project Life – Opera Weekend Pages:
To create the first two pages, I used the 12″ x 12″ Photo Pocket Pages. If you are into traditional scrap booking, you’ll like these pages. I thought it would act as a good transition for my book. I used some of the materials from the Celebrate Everyday Project Life Accessory Pack. (Washi tape, little black stickers)
Here’s the other side of that page.
The little yellow and white card is from the Accessory Pack.
For the next few pages, i used the Variety Pack of 12″ x 12″ Photo Packet Pages, These make memory keeping so quick and easy! I didn’t even need to think about what colors to use. The Emerald Envy and Basic Gray coordinate with the cards and accessories in the Accessory Pack.
Even though my photographs of the pages aren’t great, I’m sure you can tell that we had a great time. It’s so nice to be able to do this quickly and then have lots of opportunities to recall the great time we had.
