Recently, I needed a new baby card. I enjoy making just about every card I make. However, right near the top of my list is making new baby cards. I can’t think of a happier event to commemorate with a hand crafted card. Happy Happenings is just the right stamp set for all happy events, including new baby. Here’s my happy baby card.

Design Notes on Happy Happenings – New Baby Card:

I think this card certainly qualifies as a clean and simple card. I confess to doing more that a little die cutting, Yes, the Big Shot got a bit of a work out. First I stamped the sentiment on some Very Vanilla card stock. Then I cut that out using one of the Stitched Shapes ovals. While I was there, I cut out the next larger oval from some Night of Navy card stock. The So Saffron card stock seemed the perfect sunny background using the Sunburst Die. Layer, layer, layer, then add a few Metallic Enamel Shapes. Pretty much done. I did stamp a sentiment on the inside and was really finished then!
